Great book April 23, 2010 Guinevere (NY) This is a wonderful book. One of the only really good ones I have found for Milk soap making.
It is really easy to understand for beginners and its also good for people who have been making soap for a while. It gives some great tips and debunks some myths on milk soap making.
It has a few recipes for some soaps too, I tried a few and they were all quite nice, I altered a few to make them more personal (scent wise), my favorite is the Oatmeal and cinnamon (I used Lavender instead).
I loved this book and if you want to try milk soap making or already know how its a good book to read.
I also liked that it wasnt a huge brick of a book and its written soap making friendly, so it can be left open while you make some soap
Nice addition to a soapers library. April 16, 2010 JK (Santa Cruz, CA USA) Anne Watson has created another book which demystifies soap making. Many soap makers shy away from creating milk-based soaps because of all the horror stories they've heard. Ms. Watson debunks many of those myths and presents a very straightforward approach to dealing with the successful mixing of milk and lye. This is "must have" for any soap maker's library.

As I have just started getting into trying my hand at this and she makes it easy to follow and to understand. I have made it a couple times now and she takes the scary out of it and I made soap. If I can, you can.
Milk Soapmaking February 9, 2010 A. Blanchard I love this author. I bought her first book and read it several times, and then bought this one. It helps to have read her first book on soapmaking before reading this one, but it's not necessary. Her instructions are simple to read, easy to follow, and include a host of recipes. I would recommend her books to anyone who is interested in learning how to make soap.
Follow Perfectly for Perfect Results February 6, 2010 R. Lees (upstate new york) Very simply written, and easy for beginner soap makers. I found it delightful to have the book as it demystifies the soapmaking process!
