Covet June 9, 2010 Covet is an okay fragrance. I am not crazy about it but it is a nice soft floral alternative to use. I don't think I will purchase again however.
Just average, but what a price! May 10, 2010 L Gontzes (Athens, Greece) In all honesty I bought my wife this fragrance based on the brand and most importantly the amazing price offered by Amazon.com i.e. 80% down from sixty-eight dollars! The perfume is too flowery and not really that wonderful or memorable. I will take Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf anytime over most perfumes; it's just that it's so expensive... I guess you get what you pay for. In short, 2 Stars for the fragrance plus 5 Stars for the price equals 3.5 Stars
Complex fragrance, Difficult to categorize April 23, 2010 Sue B. Honey (Tallahassee, FLA) This is such a difficult fragrance to categorize ... just when you think you can identify the notes (vanilla, amber, a floral here or there, chocolate), it changes. I find is so intriguing, that I just love it. And the price ... it's to die for. For me, it's a three-season fragrance - Fall, Winter, Spring. For those who think it's a green perfume, I think you're dead wrong - for me, it's anything but green or floral and it's so not appropriate for the Summer.
Then, one day staring at the bottle it hit me. If you could bottle a green cabochon amber, this is what it would smell like.
Covet is a complex fragrance that is extraordinarily difficult to categorize and is like nothing else I've ever tried. Ignore the nay-sayers. Try it if you can.
not for me April 8, 2010 A. Hix (TX USA) Barely has a scent, and the scent it does have is baby powder and old attick... I wasted my money thinking I was buying Covet PURE BLOOM (the purple bottle) which is one of my two favorite perfumes :(
not my style April 2, 2010 Erin Palmer (portland, or) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this because I wanted to see what it smelled like and it was a darn good price. Granted, even though it is not necessarily my style, it is quite a bit better than most perfumes found on drugstore counters and a fair number of those at perfume counters too. It is a bit too floral for me. It doesn't seem floral in the classic sense, like a perfume like Joy, but it does have some floral elements. It also has a touch of something mildly spicy- maybe carnation? It has a sweetness at the same time, but not overly so. Floral scents usually don't smell very good on me, but I can see this smelling amazing on someone who maybe wants an atypical floral with a touch of spice.
